Restaurant Reports: May 2011

The City of Houston’s Department of Health and Human Services sanitarians conduct unannounced inspections of all food service establishments at least once a year. During the inspection, the sanitarians use three guidelines, substantial, serious and general, to identify violations of the Houston Food Ordinance. When there is an immediate health risk, sanitarians take action to enforce the food ordinance. Enforcement actions may include reinspections, citations or temporary closures. Below is a summary of reports for inspections on food service establishments during May in Memorial made by the City of Houston.
