Manual correction to get the accurate output in Readiris Corporate 12 as well as Omnipage were recognized instantaneously in ABBYY Finereader . To be fair, however, in some rare circumstances Omnipage properly interpreted layouts that required manual modification in Finereader.

This intelligent new tool may make even those who are satisfied with their up-to-date OCR can take a step consider to upgrade.

Finereader application shows a list of standard automated tasks optionally, such as scanning into a Microsoft Excel worksheet or Word document, transforming a digital camera image into a Word document, or scanning into an HTML file, of course when the full Finereader application starts up. You can add or adjust these automated tasks from an Automation Manager that includes options to send the document result through e-mail as well as doing another post-processing task.

Serious rival for Omnipage Pro recommended. Finereader is very impressed software and it wins the competition. Finereader can handle of complex OCR operations if you want to perform manually. Unlike Omnipage, its interface is always clear and straightforward, and required no random menu-diving to find the features you wanted.
