Marin teens mourn loss of youth center

Franky goes to the Dentist :
We had a rather scary and stressful day today.
A few days ago we noticed that little miss Franky had snapped the top off one of her canines.
We don’t know how she did it. Probably tugging with one of the bigger dogs or a symptom of her habit of running at things with her mouth open.
While they are only puppy teeth we knew it needed to be checked out so we booked her into the Vet to have a look at it.
So today Franky got taken off to the vet and the vet really wasn’t all that sure about it. He certainly didn’t fill us with confidence so we decided to get a second opinion.
A bit of research on the net had already identified Dr Christine Hawke from Sydney Pet Dentistry, who, after a quick chat told us to bring Franky straight in as the tooth really needed to come out.
After a quick look and an xray it was decided that the tooth was bad enough that it could potentially affect Franky’s adult tooth coming through properly and that the best course of action was to take it out. Given Franky is a bright show prospect we really didn’t want her adult teeth being affected.
Christine also thought that it was likely that the tooth was causing Franky pain. Given that it was an easy decision to have it taken out.
The operation went smoothy thought Franky really wasn’t keen to make up afterwards (she must have been having a good dream).
Once she got home she perked up a bit and scoffed her dinner like the little pig she usually is. Everything looks like it is healing up well already and Franky is already back to her normal self, attempting to attack everything she seems at full speed.
